FLSmidth Minerals is to provide detailed engineering and design, as well as manufacturing and delivery of equipment, including one gyratory crusher, one SAG mill and two ball mills. The mills are some of the largest in the world. The SAG mill will grind over 5,000 tonnes of copper ore per hour when it reaches full production. "This contract is another example of the steady flow of orders FLSmidth Minerals is continuing to obtain from the minerals processing industry even during the current global economic slowdown," Group Chief Executive Officer Jørgen Huno Rasmussen comments.
