By the end of 2018, RA Mines Hindustan Zinc Ltd couldn’t say exactly just how good FerroCer® Impact wear panels were – even though it had been over a year since they installed them. Why? Well, the original panels installed in November 2017 had yet to wear out. However, by March 2019, it was confirmed that the FerroCer liners had completed about 480 days (16 months approx.) in operation and has withstood approx. 24.5 lakh tons of Lead Zinc ore conveyed through the U-13 tripper chute.
