Yes. The slurryMAX™ pump is designed for footprint and piping compatibility with most common pump layouts. This allows operators to upgrade to higher efficiency and longer wear life without major system changes, reducing installation time, civil modifications and overall disruption.

Yes. FLS provides full rebuild and refurbishment services for slurryMAX™ pumps and many third-party pump brands. Our service centers supply OEM components, expert inspections and predictive maintenance recommendations to extend asset life and sustain performance across the pump’s lifecycle.

Efficiency improves when the pump operates close to its best efficiency point. This includes selecting the right pump size, maintaining correct impeller-to-wear-plate clearances and using high-performance wear materials. Reducing recirculation, managing slurry density and implementing predictive maintenance also minimize energy use, extend component life and lower total cost of ownership.

Regular inspections, correct wear-part selection and timely replacement are essential. For The slurryMAX™ pump, checking impeller clearance, monitoring bearing condition and ensuring proper lubrication helps maintain hydraulic performance and extend wear life. Using genuine FLS parts and following planned maintenance intervals supports higher pump availability and reduced lifecycle costs.
