Energy efficiency
Optimised design helps reduce energy consumption by up to 25% compared with competing solutions, lowering power use while maintaining strong performance.
The most compact crusher in the EB range, the EB 09-07 is a single-toggle jaw crusher designed for primary crushing duties where space is limited, but throughput cannot be compromised. With capacities from 104 to 288 tph, it delivers reliable reduction of medium-hard to hard rock. Hydraulically assisted gap setting, reinforced frame, and high-strength cheek plates ensure durability and fast service in demanding conditions.
A mid-range single-toggle jaw crusher, the EB 11-08 is built for sustained primary crushing of medium-hard to hard rock, with accessible bearings and one-piece crushing jaws that simplify planned maintenance and reduce service time. Optimised crushing chamber geometry and hydraulically assisted gap setting deliver consistent product sizing across variable feed conditions, with capacities from 164 to 446 tph.
With capacities from 207 to 523 tph, the EB 12-10 handles higher-tonnage primary crushing duties. An integral motor base eliminates the need for local engineering and fitting, simplifying transport, installation, and commissioning. Hydraulically assisted gap setting, optimised chamber geometry, and high-inertia flywheels combine to deliver high throughput with lower energy peaks and uniform wear across the crushing tools.
The crushing chamber geometry is engineered for an optimal nip angle, suited to hard and tough materials. Enhanced kinematics deliver a high stroke in both the feed and discharge areas, ensuring fast material throughput and consistent product sizing. Efficient utilisation of the full chamber length results in lower, more uniform wear on the crushing tools.
Reinforced front and back walls, cheek plates of high-strength special steel, and a strengthened swing jaw design absorb peak loads reliably. Crushing jaws can expand freely, preventing the transmission of high stresses to other components and extending housing life. All bearings are accessible and can be installed or removed using sleeves, simplifying planned maintenance. On the EB Pro, housing parts and the swing jaw have been designed using bionic calculation methods, with a patented front-wall solution that improves peak-load absorption and extends component service life.
All models feature hydraulically assisted gap setting for fast, repeatable CSS changes. The EB Pro offers an optional fully hydraulic gap adjustment that can also discharge tramp metal or other non-crushable components contained in the feed, further reducing unplanned downtime. CSS adjustment ranges from 50 mm to 250 mm, depending on the model, allowing operators to tune product size to downstream requirements.
Speed and temperature sensors monitor proper functioning across the range. The EB Pro adds Gyramatic™ monitoring and control options, providing operators with real-time data for condition-based maintenance and process optimisation.
V-belt drive with good accessibility for easy maintenance. Generously dimensioned flywheels allow the use of smaller electric motors while maintaining high crushing energy, contributing to lower installed power and reduced energy cost per tonne crushed.
Capacities are application-dependent and indicative. Actual throughput depends on feed material characteristics, desired product size, and machine settings.
Optimised kinematics deliver up to 10% higher throughput than the market benchmark. Generously dimensioned flywheels with high moments of inertia absorb peak loads without stalling, maintaining steady throughput. The result is efficient chamber utilisation that improves consistency across variable feed, helping operators meet targets with fewer interruptions.
The best crusher is one that keeps running. Maintenance-optimised wear elements, accessible bearings with sleeves, and hydraulically assisted gap setting reduce service times by up to 20%. A fully hydraulic gap adjustment option (on EB Pro models) speeds changeovers and improves repeatability. Meanwhile, safer, above-crusher access enables quicker service and reduces maintenance risk.
Optimised crusher geometry and energy-smoothing reduce energy consumption by up to 25% compared with competing solutions. More uniform wear across the crushing chamber extends the service life of bearings and wear parts by up to 10%, reducing consumables waste and re-handling.
FLS application engineering ensures each EB jaw crusher is configured for the specific feed and target product.
