In an intense wear environment, you need reliable mill liners. ARMOUR® mill liners provide reliable, durable wear protection for horizontal and vertical grinding mills - including ball mills, SAG mills, AG mills and vertical grinding mills - enabling you to achieve consistent, high-throughput grinding operations without compromise.
More durable liner materials, including KP30 alloy delivering up to 15% longer wear life, maintain designed charge motion for longer periods, helping sustain grinding efficiency and throughput between change-outs.
Up to 30% longer liner wear life with ARMOUR® vertical mill liners reduces the frequency of liner change-outs, lowering liner consumption, maintenance labour and downtime per tonne processed, and delivering a measurable reduction in total cost per tonne.
ARMOUR® mill liners deliver longer, more predictable liner life reduces the number of intrusive maintenance events and emergency interventions, supporting higher mill availability and safer, more controlled maintenance planning.
When you invest in ARMOUR® mill liners, you get more than just a premier product; you get process know-how and expertise earned from working with mining sites around the globe. Our technical experts are available for inventory control services and installation as well as comprehensive maintenance planning and follow-up. Working together, we can help you prevent failure and prepare for maintenance outages using specialist tools and services such as our powerful 3D scans, wear measurements and maintenance forecasts.
FLS Casablanca facility, specialising in ARMOUR® mill liner manufacturing, is emerging as a model of innovation and environmental responsibility. Focusing on a low-emission manufacturing model, FLS is able to achieve 23% less carbon emissions compared to the national industry average at our Casablanca facility. Boosting sustainability across the entire lifecycle of a mill liner.
Leverage advance machinery and an efficient handling process to ensure mill liner components are reused and/or recycled, reducing carbon emissions and promoting a sustainable future.
FLS latest development, KP30 alloy, is a next-generation casting alloy specifically designed to handle harsh milling conditions. Its engineered balance of hardness and toughness withstands high-energy impacts and severe abrasion inside the mill, extending liner life and stabilising wear. Customers gain more reliable campaigns, safer relines and tighter control of availability and cost-per-tonne.
Each grinding mill is unique, so why treat the mill linings differently? We work with you to engineer a mill lining that meets your application, type of mill, operational requirements and goals. And from there we engineer optimal liners in terms of shape, geometry, material choice and other design criteria.
In mining, there is no one-size-fits-all solution, so every ARMOUR mill liner solution is optimised to your unique equipment needs. Using state-of-the-art simulation technology and industry leading expertise, we precision engineer your mill lining solution to enable you to get more out of your grinding operation.
