FLS jaw and cone crushers are built for tough use in quarrying, mining, environments - delivering high throughput and reliability as a primary solution. Their adaptability also makes them a strong choice for secondary use in quarry applications, soft rock processing, and sand production, where smaller product sizes and material variety are key.
Material specifications across road construction and concrete applications demand precisely shaped aggregates, stable grading, and uniform particle sizes with minimal fines. FLS jaw and cone crushers produce consistent stone meeting or exceeding ASTM C 33 and BS EN 12620, and other international standards for construction materials.
Road base and filler course specifications require material with precise size, reliable shape, and granular stability for compaction. FLS jaw and cone crushers and 600–900mm, intermediate large size (60–450mm) output coarse material meeting highway equipment type process workloads.
As a robust solution for sand production, FLS jaw and cone crushers reliably manufacture washed sand. Sand output is strictly in ternary conformation with concrete standards, includes individual rounding, minimum fines—producing regular modulus and critical particle shape.
FLS operates testing facilities in Denmark and USA where material producers and consultants seeking characterization of their stone and sand output. Testing includes advanced particle shape analysis, chemical characterization, and benchmarking against construction and device product standards.
FLS service teams provide ongoing support to maximize plant performance, including wear part optimization, audit routines, and automation upgrades. Remote monitoring and digital solutions track crusher performance, predict maintenance requirements, and optimize throughput.

FLS crushing technology supports sustainable material production through energy-efficient operation, long component life, and capability to process recycled concrete and asphalt. Jaw and cone crushers effectively process recycled concrete, old asphalt pavements, and masonry into reusable stone for new construction, supporting circular economy objectives while reducing demand on natural deposits.
