A mining service centre is a one stop shop for spare and wear parts, repairs and other maintenance services. Many of our service centres also have state-of-the-art heavy machining capabilities, as well as fully-equipped training centres.

In the mining industry, maintenance is the act of keeping your equipment running in proper technical condition. Inspections, repairs, wear and spare parts supply are all part of maintenance. Ideally, maintenance is carried out proactively to avoid unplanned downtime. 

A predictive maintenance approach uses operating data to predict when maintenance is needed and enable proper planning.

Equipment maintenance is specific to the type of equipment in question, but may include the replacement of wear parts, repairs to cracked or damaged components, or the installation of spare parts to replace components that can’t be repaired. 

We have specialist solutions for transporting mining equipment, including a network of forwarders specialised in heavy component transport. Often, we can carry out repairs and rebuilds on site to avoid the issue of transporting heavy equipment.
