Thickener upgrades and rebuilds extend equipment life and improve performance, giving you greater productivity. In real life applications, customers have reduced water to tailings by up to 46% by upgrading their thickener and reduced flocculant consumption by 40%.

Our filter media solutions are optimised for maximum throughput and high filtration efficiency, whatever your application. Through extensive testing both onsite and at our laboratories, we have regularly been able to achieve >6,000 cycles by selecting the right base materials, yarn styles, cloth weight, density and weave structures for each application.

FAQs for filtration and dewatering

Dewatering is as it sounds – removing water from your material. Dewatered material is less expensive and easier to transport, and removing the water enables you to treat this water for reuse or return to the environment. Mine dewatering is a different process in which water is removed from a mine.

Filtration in mining is the separation of solids and liquids for the maximum recovery of both water and minerals.
