Our filter media solutions are optimised for maximum throughput and high filtration efficiency, whatever your application. Through a combination of modern selection tools and decades of expertise, we design to your required size, shape and thickness for a perfect fit in FLS, Metso, Diemme, Andritz and other filters.
At the start of the selection process, we ask what you'd like to improve in your filtration operation - common goals include higher production rates, lower moisture, longer cloth life, reduced OPEX, better cake release, and clearer filtrate. With the right filter media, these goals are achievable. Once defined, we create a test plan to find the best solution for your needs.
We can carry out testing using your materials samples at our global laboratories, but many of our customers prefer to carry out onsite trials. Drawing on our extensive experience of mining filtration, we’ll give you our recommended filter media samples to test on site in either a small-scale or full-scale production trial. Analysis of the results confirms the most appropriate filter cloth for your situation.
Mining operations are hard on equipment and consumables. Operation and maintenance practices make a huge difference to how your filtration media performs. Regular inspection, cleaning, avoiding excessive feed pressure and timely replacement will all help ensure your filter cloths avoid blinding or premature failure. We are always available to advise on optimum filtration cycles, maintenance and training to ensure you get the most from your filter media.
We work with the best filter cloth manufacturers globally to develop new filter media that addresses specific problems. We’ll continue to pass these benefits on to you, so that at every filter media change you have the opportunity to upgrade performance. As your challenges evolve and change, our filtration experts will be by your side, ready to help resolve performance issues.
As an OEM with decades of materials, engineering and design expertise, we have filter media selection down to an exact science. Through extensive testing both onsite and at our laboratories, we have regularly been able to achieve >6,000 cycles by selecting the right base materials, yarn styles, cloth weight, density and weave structures.
Filtration experts understand that no two operations are the same. Our wide range of solutions are completely customisable and can be applied in filter presses, drum filters, disc filters and belt filters.
Advances in filter cloth technology, such as the development of multi-layered cloths, surface-treated fabrics and specialised coatings, enhance filtration performance, enabling mining operations to achieve their moisture targets while still benefiting from increased throughput. Meanwhile, our innovative redesign of the conventional filter plate enables us to accommodate up to 10% more volume.
Optimal filtration efficiency ensures maximum water recovery, supporting your mine’s sustainability targets. By reducing moisture in your material, you’re also enhancing the efficiency of downstream processes, reducing the transportation of unnecessary water weight and minimising energy consumption spent drying materials.
