The HP-M1500 Automatic Pulverising Mill is a large-capacity, fully automated disc-mill designed for grinding up to 1.5 kg of sample material. The HP-M1500 is also available with a 1500 ccm chromium steel grinding vessel or a smaller 500 ccm chromium steel grinding vessel. It efficiently processes minerals, ores, and other materials for analytical purposes such as X-ray fluorescence diffractometry and other analytical processes.
The HP-M1500 can be operated as a standalone machine or connected to an 8 or 30-position sample magazine or linear or robot automation for unattended operation and to further streamline your sample processing. Optional extras to further enhance your efficiencies and accurate sample processing include automated grinding aid dosage (liquid), loadcell for input and output weight measurement, and quartz or glass bead flushing of the grinding vessel.
Sample quality and integrity is paramount which is why our HP-M1500 is rigorous in its automated cleaning. After milling is completed and the pulverised material is discharged into the sample cup, and the cup presented back to the operator with the product, automatic cleaning with compressed air is initiated prior to the machine accepting the next sample. Fine dust is removed by an external dust extraction system (option), which can be controlled via the machine programmable logic controller (PLC). It is efficient, and it also minimises the risk of carryover between successive samples. As an option quartz or glass bead flushing is available to flush the grinding vessel between samples.
Our HP-M1500 keeps your operator safe from exposure to dust, noise, and heavy lifting. It also removes the risk to the operator that comes from dropping a large bowl or puck. This means your operators are free to work safely and comfortably without the need for wear hearing protection, glasses, face masks or steel cap shoes.
