The new line will incorporate the most modern processes and will reinforce Yura S.A's market position as the leading supplier to the Coast and Andean markets in southern Peru. Furthermore, this increased capacity will ensure an adequate supply of cement and concrete products to support the government's plans to expand Peru's infrastructure. FLSmidth attributes the success of this contract to its ability to act as a complete partner for the supply of engineering services, project management and commissioning as well as all major machines for the pyroprocessing line. Located at 2,600 m above sea level, this 4200 tpd line will include a ILC 5-stage preheater with low NOx and low CO calciner, a 5mx65m 2-pier kiln, a Multi-Movable Cross-barTM Cooler with HRB, a CF Silo and kiln feed system. In addition, all of the main process bag-house filters will be supplied. The equipment was selected to minimize operating costs and ensure that all applicable World Bank International environmental standards are achieved. Yura S.A., integrates the industrial conglomerate, known as Grupo Gloria, which is present in Peru, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia and Puerto Rico in various industries. Established in 1966, Yura S.A. is currently ranked as the fourth largest cement producer in the country and is the main supplier of concrete products in the southern Peru market. The plant will be commissioned in 2010. ------------------------------------- Please address any questions regarding this announcement to Group Executive Vice President Christian Jepsen, FLSmidth & Co.
