Company Announcement to the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority No. 05-2012, 7 February 2012

FLSmidth has been awarded a contract worth approximately USD 82m (approximately DKK 467m) from the company Allied Nevada Gold Corp. to supply equipment and services to their gold mine located about 200 kilometres North East of Reno in the state of Nevada, USA.

The contract includes delivery of two SAG mills and three ball mills. The plant capacity will be over 100,000 tonnes per day of gold and silver bearing ore. The capacity of the plant will make it the largest concentrator in size, in North America, ever put into operation in a single phase.

Prior orders from Allied Nevada for FLSmidth equipment include a primary gyratory crusher as well as cone crushers for delivery in 2012.

"Our One Source approach and our local presence have been important factors in FLSmidth winning this order. The customer has contacted FLSmidth directly and we are glad to be able to offer nearby support and service while also delivering operational capacity which is among the best in the world," Group CEO Jørgen Huno Rasmussen comments.

The order will contribute beneficially to FLSmidth's earnings until 2015.
