1. Registration and confirmation
Submission of the registration form constitutes a request to attend the training course. Participation in the course is not guaranteed until a valid purchase order (PO) number has been received and confirmed by FLSmidth.
The PO number must be provided within the timeframe communicated after registration. Registrations without a PO number may be placed on hold or released if the class reaches capacity.
2. Payment terms
The registration fee is USD 1,925 per participant, unless otherwise agreed in writing.The fee includes:
- training classes
- training materials
- one (1) dinner
- three (3) breakfasts
- three (3) lunches
A USD 100 discount per person is available for four or more participants from the same company.
All fees are invoiced based on the provided PO and must be paid according to the invoice payment terms.
3. Training format and content
The training consists of:
- two and a half (2½) days of presentations
- one half (½) day of hands-on training
Hands-on training includes roller adjustments, ovality measurements, and documented inspection on a full-scale 3-pier training kiln.
The training is designed for plant engineers, planners, mechanics, and maintenance and production personnel and is delivered by engineers with more than 30 years of experience in rotary equipment maintenance.
4. Location
The training will take place at:

5. Accommodation
FLSmidth will reserve accommodation for registered participants by adding their names to a pre-arranged block of rooms. Participants or their company are responsible for all room charges and any incidental expenses. Room charges must be secured with a company credit card or personal credit card upon arrival at the hotel.
Room rates are approximately USD 99 per night for single or double occupancy.
All hotel charges, including incidentals, are the responsibility of the attendee.
6. Cancellations and substitutions
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the training start date will be charged the full registration fee. Substitutions may be permitted at no additional cost, subject to prior written approval.
7. General
FLSmidth reserves the right to:
- limit class size
- decline or cancel registrations without a valid PO
- make reasonable changes to the agenda, instructors, or training materials
